ORIGIN OF KUCHIPUDI DANCE
From swayambhu manvantharam to yavasvata manvantharam tre are 7 manvantharas .In every manvantharam at the end of krutha yuga and starting of treta yuga the people are distrubed by greediness , jealousy , hatredness and leading a very miserable life . This happening in mean while of krutha yuga and trete yuga .
Once this situation happened at the beginning of treta yuga . Then the Jhambu island was occupied by gandharvas and devathas and mahoragas . Then mahendra and others went to Brahmadeva and prayed him to give a "play" which is visual and make the people to go in a right path , because the people of weaker section in the soceity are not having any right on vedas . So that the new art created by you(BRAHMA DEVA) should provide the right to such people also .
Then Brahma accepted their prayer and went in to "Dhyanam" and recalled all the 4 vedas and created a new veda by taking PATYAM from RUGVEDAM , GEETAM from SAMA VEDAM , ABHINAYAM from YAJUR VEDAM , RASAM from ADHARVANA VEDAM , which is called as NATYAM and was popularised as PANCHAMA VEDAM ,for all communities to follow .
After that BRAHMA called BHARATHA saint and ordered him to teach this art to all his sons which are 100 in number . BRAHMA created dance and BHARATHA saint teached this to his sons . Disciples like ARJUNA , RAVANA and USHA SUNDARI this art came in to existence on earth and was well popularised
